NIRIS DASHBOARD & PORTAL
NIRIS Dashboard & Portal
The NIRIS Dashboard consolidates all tools and functionality into a single screen. A preferred default installation may be set to control the items on the left hand panel including GIS mini-map, installation description, installation contacts, partnering tools, recent data loading activity, and regional guidelines. The right hand panel contains three collapsable panels to categorize the tools available through individual provisioning. The tool categories are Data Submitter, Data Manager, and NIRIS Tools.
ANALYTICAL DATA SUBMISSION & LOADING
NEDD Data Checker
The Navy Environmental Data Deliverable (NEDD) is the standardized format for submitting data to NIRIS. The NIRIS Data Checker verifies NEDD submittals using data type, relationship and business rule checking stages. The uploaded files must pass all of the stages in order to be successfully submitted to the Navy.
Primary user is usually a contracting organization tasked with collecting field and sampling data.
VAPOR INTRUSION
VI Tool
The Vapor Intrusion Evaluation Tool was designed by NAVFAC to provide Remedial Project Managers (RPMs) and other environmental restoration professionals with technical information to make informed decisions about vapor intrusion.
Primary users are the RPM and environmental contractors.
LAND USE CONTROLS
LUC Tracker
NIRIS LUC TRACKER manages institutional and engineered controls for NAVFAC properties. Inspection requirements are automatically scheduled using site customizable checklists and deficiencies are easily recorded and tracked to completion. Query reportable contaminants and hazards and then display geo-locations of the resulting sites.
Primary user is the RPM.
DOCUMENT REVIEW
Document Review
The NIRIS Document Review tool allow users to participate in document review processes for a variety of document types including SAP, ESS, RAA, and general partnering team collaborative reviews. Contractors interact directly with Navy experts to achieve a finalized plan or document delivery.
Primary users are contracting organizations, Navy Technical Support, and the RPM.
